Edition 16: The 'Low Down ✨
Hey friends,
Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend! I’m headed back to the city from a trip to Des Moines which, as I learned, is basically the Paris of the Iowa 🌽 🐮 🚜
Summer is officially upon us, and our first 8:30 PM sunset is just around the corner. FOTN Ben is celebrating the season’s arrival with a Songs of Summer: 2024 Spotify playlist which he’s inviting anyone & everyone to contribute to. He says, “The rule, as usual: add 5 songs that embody the summer 2024 vibe (whatever that means).” As a subscriber of The ‘Low Down, you obviously have excellent taste, so you should add to his playlist as well 🤪
As for the events in this addition… Have you ever wanted to dive into a bowl of nostalgia with dishes inspired by childhood classics? Sip on botanical drinks and swap plant cuttings? Get an origami crane from a vending machine? That’s great because you can do all of the above, and more, this month. Reply directly to this email if you want to check anything out together!
