TLD 24 ✨ Petting Zoo x Comedy 🦘 🎤 Love Isn’t Blind 🙈 Boozy Ice Cream Making 🍦
Hey friends,
As I mentioned last month, I’m on a mission to find the magic in the everyday. So, I’m testing a new intro where I share three things from the past month that sparked joy…
🐶 First: I went to puppy yoga. It was definitely more puppy than yoga but I was more than okay with that.
🕵️ Next: I saw a production of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution across the pond at the historic London County Hall. It was so cool to see the courtroom thriller in this unique setting — highly recommend for your next visit to London.
👩🍳 And finally: I transferred all of my spices into matching containers and wow… the satisfaction… it’s really the little things!
What sparked joy for you?! Drop a comment below or reply to this email.

🌸 Wax Atelier Floral Demonstration
March 8 | TOAST West Village (271 West 4th St.) | Free?
“Join Lola Lely, one half of the duo behind Wax Atelier, at our newly opened TOAST West Village shop for a demonstration in the art of crafting long-lasting floral bouquets. Using TOAST remnant fabrics, strips of silks and linens are coated with a blend of pine resin and aromatic waxes to create flexible ribbons, which are then shaped into delicate leaves and petals. Stems and stamens are dipped in naturally coloured beeswax before all the elements are meticulously assembled into reimagined botanical designs. Natural pigments like green tea are used to create a vibrant spring palette, centring around green as a symbol of new life. These handmade creations offer a beautiful alternative to cut flowers, lasting far beyond a single season.”

🎷 Daddy Rabbit Vol. 91: Khailah Johnson
March 24 | LouLou (176 8th Ave.) | $62+
“Once you step into to the Daddy Rabbit NYC, downstairs at LouLou in Chelsea, you'll soon sense the energy. This is an intimate, inclusive and perennially humming speakeasy with a capacity of just 70. You'll also notice that, unlike most live music venues, there's no stage. Instead we adorn the center of the room with a grand piano and let the audience mingle with the world-class ensemble throughout the act. This makes the Daddy Rabbit a singularly immersive musical experience.
Daddy Rabbit is proud to present unquestionably one of the best voices in NYC. Khailah Johnson will be remembered through history for her astounding voice and now is your chance to witness her in an intimate space before she inevitably becomes a world star. With the sort of natural ability of a Billie Holiday or Amy Winehouse there is rarely a dry eye in the house when Khailah sings. She's agreed to honor us with her presence on her only night off from her Broadway show & Juliet. This live music event mixes original compositions with unique interpretations of Soul, Jazz, Rock, Funk and RnB classics.”
